CITY LEEGAR

TRAINING CHAMPIONS

When it comes to fitness of the body and mind, Muay Thai delivers. Being both Anaerobic and Aerobic in nature, it is the perfect way to increase cardiovascular fitness. Every muscle in your lower body is strengthened with the various kicks and footwork drills, all while building muscular endurance, agility and force production in both the upper and lower body. Muay Thai helps with stress relief and by pushing your physical limits, the mind is also strengthened. Many of our members have no desire to fight but train regularly for the tremendous fitness benefits and the confidence of knowing they could handle themselves should they ever need to. Get in the best shape of your life now at City leegar with Muay Thai Training.

Muay Thai Kickboxing is well known to be one of the most effective forms of Martial Arts in existence. Punches, kicks, elbows and knees are used to cause maximum damage to opponents in the competitive arena or in self defense situations if needed. It is the main striking discipline used by fighters in the hugely popular 'UFC' mixed martial arts competition. City Lee Gar has a long history of producing champion fighters, with founder Sifu Phillip Lam considered the Godfather of the sport in New Zealand. Anyone wishing to compete in the sport of Muay Thai/Kickboxing will be in good hands at City Lee Gar and can be trained to fight at the highest levels, with frequent opportunities to compete both in NZ and internationally.
